Marnie Bacon is an engaging and heartfelt yoga and meditation instructor, a nature-loving adventurer, and a singer- songwriter/recording artist. She is committed to sharing her gifts through yoga and through her music.
With twenty years plus of teaching experience, Marnie has over one thousand hours of professional training in yoga and various healing modalities, most notably from The Kripalu Schools of Yoga and Bodywork, various trainings with Amy Ippoliti and Y12SR (Yoga of the 12 Steps of Recovery Leadership Certification). Additionally, she has practiced and studied alongside several of today’s leading devotional musicians. Often in her classes, she shares (through singing or chanting) the healing mantras she has learned, to the delight of her students.
Marnie offers an array of classes, both public and private, and workshops, all held in places of great beauty. Marnie is known for her articulate instruction,her humor and a modern approach to the ancient teachings of yoga.
A traveller at heart, Marnie runs a small, international yoga-retreat business, hosting groups at some of her favorite places in the world. These retreats are a magical combination of yoga and meditation, along with plenty of vacation time. These trips can also be a great way to find and explore with like minded friends.

Growing up in a musical household, Marnie has been playing and writing her own songs since childhood. She has been fortunate enough to have played at various yoga studios, bars and taverns, art galleries, churches, and a good number of back porches and living rooms. She developed and ran a successful live-music yoga program at Dragonfly Yoga Studio. Here, she brought together skillful and heartfelt musicians,introducing her students to the power of sound and the magic of yoga as a healing art.
